To make Indian businesses more competitive worldwide, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) announced a redesigned Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) Certification Scheme. What is the purpose of the Zero Defect and Zero Effect Certification?
To encourage MSMEs, the Zero Defect and Zero Effect Certification Plan is a scheme that promotes ZED production and assessment. It provides MSMEs with the tools to produce high-quality goods by utilising cutting-edge technology. This helps improve efficiency and create high-quality products with minimal impact on the environment.
The MSMEs introduced the ZED Certification Scheme on 28 April 2022 to make Indian enterprises globally competitive and assist in gaining more access to funding.
